I spent a couple of years playing with the properties of underglazes, teaching and firing pottery. My patterns included a wide variety of commissioned works for example: a custom painted Harely Davidson Birthday Plate & logo, Wedding Platter, A three dimensional bull dog statue to match the owners favorite dog, Custom Designed Corporate Sales Reward Plates-toting company names and brands, floral designs, chinese & American Indian scenes. Painting on pottery is always a discovery process, since you never truly know the end result of your work until you open the kiln 36 hours later.
